Patrick Henry Garden
The Patrick Henry Garden is one of the most magical parts of our school. Through an incredible amount of community support, we are able to run this as a true community garden where students, staff, families, partners, and neighbors benefit from our delicious and beautiful growth. We cannot operate this garden without community support, and every organization who works with us - even for just one day! - makes a lasting impact that changes our world.
63106 is a food desert - a place where no local stores sell fresh fruits and vegetables - but things are changing! The Patrick Henry Garden offers our neighbors and students the opportunity to eat free, healthy options that are not only nutritious, but are also farmed organically and sourced locally. We are incredibly proud of the work we are doing to transform our neighborhood into a healthier and greener space!
